Copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo-Scandinavian zoomorphic stirrup terminal. The face is decorated with a moulded zoomorphic beast head, this has expanded flaring nostrils at the base above which a high transvers ridge forms a brow that mounts two lentoid shaped bulging eyes. Finally above the brow ridge are two small semi-circular protrusions forming the ears.
Just below the top there is a prominent ridge which does not extend to the rear.
