A complete copper alloy coin weight forgold crown of the double rose coin, made in Antwerp and dating to c.AD 1550-1600.
The weight is square. The obverse depicts a double rose surmounted by a crown, flanked by the initials E on the left and C on the right, all within a beaded circle. E C standing for 'Englesecroon'. The reverse depicts ahandin the centre (the mark of Antwerp) flanked by the initials I and I.
