Two fragments of a cast copper alloy post Medieval spur. Both have heart-shaped terminals with transverse ridged collars decorated with an incised medial line. One retains a portion of the side arm of the spur, which is plano-convex in cross section and decorated with an incised palm leaf emerging from a rosette or other form. The smaller fragment has loops which are worn through and broken, which may account for the original loss.Circa 16th century.
